About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead our human resources function across a dynamic, multi-site business. You'll be responsible for creating a positive workplace culture, managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the growth of our teams through strategic HR initiatives. As a key member of the team, you'll oversee everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, WHS compliance, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding, contracts, and inductions
- Drive employee engagement, training, and development initiatives
- Provide high-level HR advice to leadership on performance, employee relations, and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, industry awards, WHS, and employment legislation
- Review payroll and support cost-effective rostering and workforce productivity
- Maintain HR records and provide data-driven insights through regular reporting
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software
