**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mentor to join our team at multiple project locations in the Pilbara WA. If you are passionate about making a difference and thrive on supporting others to reach their full potential, then this permanent full-time position could be the perfect opportunity for you. As Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding our workforce, fostering professional development and promoting a positive work culture.
What does the role involve?
**The main tasks and responsibilities include**:
- Providing guidance and support to employees in their professional growth and career development.
- Implementing mentoring programs to facilitate knowledge transfer, skill enhancement, and leadership development among staff members.
- Providing one-on-one coaching and guidance to employees on workplace related issues.
- Collaborating with management to identify training needs and create tailored mentoring plans for individuals or teams.
- Evaluating mentee progress and providing constructive feedback to enhance performance and achieve personal and organisational goals.
- Acting as a role model by demonstrating best practices, ethical behaviour, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Fostering a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among colleagues.
- Collaborating with HR and departmental managers to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted mentorship initiatives.
- Acting as a resource for both mentors and mentees, offering advice, feedback, and support as needed
- Contributing to a positive organizational culture by fostering an environment of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What are we looking for?
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Mentoring or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to provide mentorship and coaching to all employees.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations within the mining sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in remote locations.
- Ability to develop training materials and conduct workshops for skill development.
- Experience working with diverse teams and cultures.
- Sound understanding of operational processes and best practices in the mining sector.
