**Job Title: Floor Manager**

**Key Focuses**
1. Create a positive customer experience by offering a high level of service and ensure all staff members interact with guests to learn their needs and surpass expectations to create a memorable experience.
2. On-going training and support is offered to the floor team members to ensure their skills and knowledge remain up to date and to the highest level
3. All TDG systems and procedures are followed to the highest standard
4. Ensure that the venue is always ready for service through the day

**Responsibilities**

**Management**
- Provide the tools and environment for the team to maximize sales at all times
- Strong communication to your team _(FOH, BOH and Management)_ is practiced when you are running a section/service
- Provide leadership to team members at all times by getting involved in service when needed and leading by example when completing a task, incentivized and motived
- Identify and delegate duties to team members and shift leaders to meet objectives and consistently achieve excellent service.
- The ambience of the venue is controlled through the day to ensure that the music, temperature, lighting and overall ambience is suitable for the time of day
- Monitor the speed of service as well as strengths and weaknesses of the service and take appropriate action.
- Resolve complaints and customer or team problems in an efficient and friendly manager with the primary goal of satisfying their needs and continuing to earn their business.
- Feedback that you receive from a guest or team member is documented and reported to your manager
- Able to show detailed menu knowledge of the food and beverage offerings
- Storage areas are managed and maintained at all times
- RSA is practiced at all times and you identify if the team are following RSA restrictions.
- OH&S is in the venue is monitored throughout shift and reported on to your manager
- The equipment and fittings are maintained and reported to your manager if an issue is identified
- Ensure the recruiting procedure is followed with all new team members

**Sales and budgets**
- Aware of the daily and weekly sales budgets
- Proactive actions are taken to hit the daily sales budgets
- Aware of the purchase budgets for beverage and all controllable expenses
- Controllable expenses are kept within budget
- Controllable discounts are monitored and approved daily
- Aware of wage budgets for the day and proactive measure are taken to hit or reduce these

**End of service reporting**
- Timesheets are approved and checked each evening to ensure accurate data
- Cash handling is completed accurately and efficiently; any discrepancies are investigated and reported on
- Evening cash reports are filled out accurately and comments from the day’s service are documented

**Systems and procedures**
- Daily checklists and pre-shift briefs are completed to a high standard and the latter is communication to all team members
- Deliveries are received in the correct manner, order form is used to check stock quality and quantity
- Recipes and TDG standards are always followed
- Steps of Service are followed

**Promotions and marketing**
- You are aware of the current and upcoming promotions for the venue
- Ideas for upcoming campaigns and feedback from existing campaigns are passed onto the group marketing manager
- Aware of the details regarding the customer loyalty program
- Aware of all function and event packages available and relevant spends

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Dress in appropriate uniform / clothing, ensuring a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
- A positive stance is taken towards changes within the company.
- Leadership skills are practiced at all times.
- Excellent time management is planned into each day and process.
- Delegated tasks are followed up and reported on.
- Well-groomed and presented at all times.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
