**About Us**

My Zakaya is a warm and welcoming Japanese restaurant dedicated to providing an authentic dining experience with exceptional hospitality. We are looking for **Dishwasher/Kitchen assistant** during dinner service.

**Role Overview**

As a Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes and utensils, as well as supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and other essential tasks. Your role will be integral to ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and food is prepared to My Zakaya’s high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dishwashing**:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, ensuring it remains organized and sanitary.
- Sort, store, and organize clean dishes and kitchen tools.
- **Kitchen Assistance**:

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, peeling, or preparing ingredients as needed.
- Assist in managing kitchen waste and recycling.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment as directed by the kitchen team.
- **Team Support**:

- Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic, helping others when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen assistant role is preferred, but not essential.
- Available for Wed-Sun, 5 days shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
