**The Opportunity**:
Based from our North Sydney offices 3 days a week and one day at home, we are seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Wellbeing, Safety & Environment and part of the broader People and Culture team, you will be responsible for supporting the claims function and assisting injured workers through their rehabilitation process to their pre-accident level as well as being at the forefront of promoting early injury management and treatment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure the activities associated with the successful injury management of work-related injuries (including early intervention strategies) are coordinated & implemented in a timely manner to optimise a recovery at work
- Consult with injured team members and managers to identify appropriate alternate duties and conduct regular reviews thereafter with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide advice to managers, supervisors, and health and safety partners regarding injury management practices, issues, and trends.
- Provide accurate information to the RTW and Authorised Insurer when required.
- Managing and supporting non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Travel to sites across you’re the region, as required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in injury management.
- Demonstrated experience in workplace-based rehabilitation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
- High-level organizational skills with expertise in effective work and process planning.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to negotiate and drive outcomes.
- The ability to influence practitioners in the workers' compensation industry.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills, including effective communication with workers, managers, and medical providers.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**
- Strong claims management, workers' compensation, fitness for duties and return to work facilitation experience.
- Strong working knowledge and experience in a similar industry
- Proficiency in developing strategies to streamline claims management and premium reductions.
- Allied Health qualifications (preferred)
