**Racing Form Analyst (Contract)**

This position is responsible for analyzing international horse racing, harness racing and greyhound racing data to provide accurate and insightful predictions, strategies, and reports that aid in decision-making processes for betting, racing strategies, and horse selection. They possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the racing industry, and a passion for data-driven analysis.

**Tasks**
- Race form analysis (Thoroughbreds, Harness, Greyhounds) in the way of race previews for bookmaker clients (mainly Tabcorp) and analytical content for the website.
- Attend New Zealand race meetings (for all three disciplines) throughout the year, this also includes attending track-work and various barrier trials
- Data Analysis: Analyze data related to horse performances, track conditions, jockey statistics, trainer patterns, and other relevant factors
- Performance Monitoring: Track and assess the performance of horses, greyhounds, jockeys, drivers and trainers over time to identify trends and anomalies - this knowledge aids in the production and development of different comment set variations to eliminate repetition in all use cases
- The pricing and previewing of thoroughbred meetings in South America, UAE, Italy and South Africa
- Provide race previews for Japan, Hong Kong, South Korean and Malaysian thoroughbred meetings
- Production of news content for the Racing and Sports website

**Essential**

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to
- Effectively present analysis and recommendations.
- 3plus years of Horse Racing Knowledge: Deep understanding of the racing industry, including knowledge of form, betting markets, and race dynamics.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems related to race analysis and prediction.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build industry relationships
