**About the role**:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Reliability Superintendent to join our dynamic team at the Lytton Refinery on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing new reliability strategies that will shape the future of the refinery’s asset operations frameworks and models.
As the Reliability Superintendent, you will play a key role in driving plant reliability performance by developing, executing, and continuously improving reliability systems, processes, and best practices by enhancing the operational excellence of Lytton’s Reliability Management standards and procedures and ensuring the ongoing growth and optimization of our assets.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of Lytton's Reliability Improvement Strategy and associated plans.
- Champion the development and enhancement of the OEM 21.7 Reliability Management standard, as well as supporting procedures, guidelines, and systems.
- Facilitate and support the ongoing continuous improvement of URB (Unit Reliability Brief) and T&V (Threats and Vulnerabilities) processes across all plant areas.
- Drive continuous improvement in the site's production and loss reporting system, enhancing the investigation, root cause analysis, and defect elimination effectiveness.
**Key skills and experience**:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or related field; Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), Chartered engineer with relevant institution (e.g. Engineers Australia).
- Proven experience in reliability engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment with In-depth knowledge and experience with reliability management standards and improvement strategies.
- Strong ability to develop and implement strategies, systems, procedures, and guidelines for asset reliability.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring teams on the effective use of reliability tools and best practices.
- Expertise in data analysis and advanced techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Analysis, and Reliability Modelling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis and defect elimination.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to facilitate continuous improvement efforts across various plant areas.
- Ability to lead across multi-functional teams and synthesise direct action to achieve results from ambiguity.
