**About the opportunity**

This is a great opportunity to join Bupa as a 12-month Contingent worker (we have 2 positions). You will be paid a competitive daily rate and will be provided with flexible working / work from home arrangements. The preferred location for this role is Melbourne.

**How can you help?**

The Infrastructure Designer possesses broad and deep expertise on various hardware and infrastructure software platforms. This role will be responsible for helping to define and implement solutions for project initiated infrastructure software platforms that BUPA uses to support its business.

**What do you need?**
- Degree qualification in Computer Science or equivalent experience. TOGAF desirable
- Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and implementing complex mission-critical systems, spanning multiple technologies working with Microsoft Azure Cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Track record in successfully driving technical designs through to implementation with a hands-on approach
- Excellent Technical Writing and Diagramming skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Strong Stakeholder Management across business and technical teams to recommend and develop cost effective, scalable, fit for purpose, and secure cloud and on-premise solutions
- Proficient Consulting Skills to enable an understanding of business requirements and translation into Non-functional Requirements related to business expectations
- Demonstrated ability to make Key Design Decisions that combine short and long term trade-offs, mix business and technical needs, and facilitate and guide discussions between the business and Technology in relation to project initiatives
- Microsoft Azure Certifications related to Technical Architecture and Design
