Immediate start for a HR Officer

**Your new role**
Your role will be to provide recruitment services including advertisement of positions, coordination of selection processes and production of contractual documentation. You will be acting as first point of contact for enquiries through the career’s website. You will be coordinating temporary assignment of labour hire engagements. A part of your role will be to provide general HR and OHS advice and update Human Resources policies and procedures and establishment activities such as creation and classification / reclassification of positions. You will assist with project work to support the development and delivery of organisational development initiatives including development and delivery of the corporate induction and other learning and development activities and coordination of the implementation of Australian Public Service Commission directives and initiatives.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience in providing human resource management services, including recruitment, establishment and learning and development services. You’ll have a sound understanding of contemporary human resource management and occupational health and safety issues and trends with experience in assisting with the identification, development and implementation of projects and initiatives. You’ll have a well-developed organisational and administrative skills including strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise and control own workload, ability to suggest improvements to work processes and tasks to improve efficiencies and HR services.
