**_The Opportunity?_**

Our** KCGM Growth Project Team** currently has a fantastic opportunity for a **Project Civil Superintendent - Concrete** to join the **Northern Star** construction team managing a major expansion and modernisation project at our **KCGM gold processing plant** in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

You will be part of the exciting growth stage expected at **Northern Star,** and be engaged in a dynamic work environment, where you will be valued as an integral member of the team, and where you can develop and progress within the business long term.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Oversee the concrete construction activities of the main Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor across both greenfield and brownfield scopes.
- Build strong relationships with the EPC contractor's site management team, promoting open and effective communications.
- Ensure efficient execution of the EPC contractors civil scope by supporting the contractor’s teams in the planning, installation, inspection, testing and acceptance of works, including the identification and correction of deficiencies.
- Assist in interactions with mine operations and other contractors.
- Monitor and review risk register development and implementation of mitigating actions.
- Review of the contractor's schedule, work packaging and detailed planning.

**_About you?_**
- Experience in a similar role involving complex concrete construction works is essential.
- Experienced in large grinding mills, post-tensioned concrete structures and pre-cast beam erection.
- Experience in large-scale mineral processing & mine site construction projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and negotiating skills,
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite.
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification.
- Minimum of C class manual drivers license.
