**The Role**

As a valuable addition to the Commercial Litigation Team, you will be working in disputes across property and construction, and a variety of other general commercial litigation matters. You will be working with a Litigation partner that has an excellent reputation and understand the nature of litigation and provide flexibility and WFH. Supportive culture and excellent benefits and resources.

The focus will be on debt recovery, litigation, and employment. You will have regular direct contact with a variety of clients, referrers and senior practitioners in the firm.

You must be able to demonstrate your experience, skills and responsibilities in the following criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in running commercial litigation and dispute resolution files
- Excellent advocacy skills for court appearances and mediations
- A Willingness to run litigation, and insolvency matters with relative autonomy through to trial (if necessary)
- Preparing briefs to experts, town agents and Counsel
- A solid working knowledge and understanding of the State and Federal Court rules
- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
- Be an enthusiastic and positive team player and collaborator with existing team members
- Be a self-starter, and self-motivator who is well organised with the ability to meet deadlines and hold themselves accountable
- Have high professional and ethical standards
- Be confident and be an excellent communicator - both verbally and in writing
- Be able to support the progression and reputation of the firm and build and maintain positive client, team and community relationships

Remuneration will be comparable with experience and will be discussed.

**You**

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3yrs PAE and be an established litigation lawyer. You will have experience with dispute matters and have gained your experience from a well-respected law-firm.
