Job description

Based in Ormeau, Our client is a leading manufacturer and retailer of Building and Home Improvement products and are seeking Production Labourers that will focus on assisting Machine Operators with production and sheet metal.

**Role/s specifications**:
**Day shift**: 0630 - 1436 hours

**Afternoon shift**: 1436 - 2242 hours

**PPE required**: Long sleeve hi vis reflection shirt; preferably orange, long cargo work pants and steel cap boots
$29.40 per hour (Day shift) - $33.81 per hour (Afternoon shift) + OT
Monday - Friday and Saturday's as required
Driver's license and car is preferred as public transport is limited in the area
Forklift ticket will be highly regarded as some roles will require a ticket
Physically fit and strong - ability to move large volumes of sheet metal and sheeting scraps

**Roles, tickets and duties required to be considered**:
**PressBreak/Folder Offsider**:
Assist with loading and unloading sheet metal on 8.0m long slitter folder or 4.0m long press break and take finished products from the factory to yard, as well as assist moving sheet metal blanks from one table to another table.
Roofing Machine Offsider - Forklift ticket is desirable
Assist with running roofing machine, guide roof sheets on to trolley, strap finished products, add timber and core strip protection where necessary. You will need to flip roof sheets when required.
Purlin Offisder - Forklift ticket is required
Assist with Running Purlin machine, move purlins to trolley, strap finished products, add timber and core strip protection.
Assembly Line Worker - Forklift ticket is desirable
Assist Operator with assembly of door panels, assist with seaming doors, use pneumatic drill, use pneumatic rivetter, use pneumatic stapler, lift doors to trolley or pallet.
Assembly Line Worker - Forklift ticket is required
Assist Operator with production of pack Insulated panel, strap the finished pack, feed eps block's in to machine, assist is sorting panels for scrap, peel panels and separate foam and metal.
Slitting Offsider - Forklift ticket is required
Strap finished coil, operate forklift and move coils to storage, load coils to coil cart for slitting, unload and load coil trucks.
Production Helper - Forklift ticket is desirable
Cut steel posts to length using saw, move steel post from saw to welder's table. Cut, drill and bend steel plates. Pack and strap finished products for delivery. Onload steel delivery trucks.
Production Helper
Work in Hot Environment. Move EPS blocks from hot oven to storage, Assist operator with moving eps blocks from ground to cutting table, pack finished products, use melting machine to melt eps waste. Operate Pallet Jack efficiently.

You must have valid working rights within Australia to be considered for this role.
