WesTrac is looking for a **Trade Development Manager **to join our team Learning & Development team in South Guildford, WA, on a full-time basis.

Accountable for leading a team of Apprentice Supervisors and Simulated Work Environment Trainers, this role is responsible for partnering with operational leaders to lead and provide sustainable and comprehensive programs for the 150+ apprentices that are employed at WesTrac. It will oversee the delivery of the WesTrac Trade Development Programs, ensure apprentices successfully fulfil the requirements of their training, market and promote the programs as well as maintain the apprentice budget.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- 5+ years experience with people management and the ability to inspire, influence and motivate teams across multiple functions.
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in mentoring employees and on the job coaching
- Understanding of safety and risk management principles
- Previous experience with apprenticeship programs
- Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial and business acumen skills
- Experience in implementing strategic initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (learning, leadership, coaching, psychology, human resources) or a comparable level of experience is desirable
