We’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager to manage our subscriber retention programs. Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager, CX & Retention, you’ll help deliver a retention strategy that will improve and enhance the subscriber experience and help achieve revenue targets for our brands.
You will have experience working with data to drive smart and effective campaigns, drawing on customer insight and creative best practice. Key to your role will be strong campaign management from planning to executing, optimising, monitoring, reporting and analysis of performance.
This will be done in close collaboration with your colleagues in the wider Subscriptions and Marketing team and cross-functional colleagues in the Product, Tech and Data teams. Together, you’ll execute strategic and tactical campaigns to achieve our revenue and ROI goals.
**Job Description**:
**In this role you will**:
- Develop subscriber management programs from strategy through to implementation to drive retention objectives and achieve revenue goals across activity.
- Ongoing review and optimisation of the retention journeys and campaigns across audience, creative and channels to improve action and reduce churn across campaigns including upsell, payment decline, save and renewals.
- Implement and manage campaign tracking, testing, reporting and analysis to form then communicate insights into campaign performance alongside customer behaviour to achieve KPI / benchmarks
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure the subscription management process and campaigns are clear and seamless to improve the overall subscriber experience
- Build strong and open relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**Qualifications**:
**You are**:
- A self-starter with experience in a Lifecycle or Retention role or similar (experience in a subscription business will be highly regarded).
- Have a natural affinity with data and have the ability to produce and analyse reports, then interpret the data that leads to actionable insights
- Knowledgeable on CRM marketing principles including performance metrics, channels, audience building and best practice
- Able to approach things with a fresh perspective and confidently communicate directly with peers and senior stakeholders
- Energised by taking on complex problems and using critical thinking and available data to drive high-end commercial and customer outcomes
- Able to perform in a rapid, dynamic environment where critical thinking, creativity and confidence are highly valued
- Equipped with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work tasks autonomously to meet campaign deliverables
- Experience with CRM or marketing automation tools is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
