**The Position**
As a Marketing Manager for Obesity, you will be in charge of leading and managing a team whilst co-ordinating the use of marketing resources and product marketing processes to drive the planning and promotion of group products, and devise market strategies and sales tactics to achieve profit objectives. This role will report to Senior Business Unit Director. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Supervising direct reports in selected product area, including Talk2Grow performance goal setting, mid-year and yearly reviews and Individual Development Plans, approval of expenses, travel and leave of direct reports. Co-ordinating direct reports and optimising the use of human and material resources to achieve goals. Consulting with staff and review their recommendations and reports. Participating in recruitment, selection, and training of newly recruited staff. Leading the development of the team to ensure its future capability in the changing marketplace.
- Preparing new product marketing plans for product introductions in cooperation with colleagues in Medical, Patient Access and Public Affairs (PAPA), Finance & Operations, Learning & Development, Legal & Compliance and Sales. Forecasting product revenues and developing product promotional budgets and projects.
- Developing product campaigns including advertising, direct mail and sales force materials, product brand image and positioning through agency briefings and market research. Collaborating throughout campaign development with other departments and involving others. Inputting into media relationships including Communication and Public Relations (PR) activities.
- Managing product communication and brand image throughout Novo Nordisk, management of market research projects in support of marketing campaign development. Liaising with Regional and Global Marketing regarding current product promotion. Ensuring compliance with national legislation and local guidelines in relation to the production of marketing materials.
- Conducting field visits to assess and receive feedback on the acceptability and usage of marketing messages and materials. Attend key national and international congresses, symposia, and marketing meetings. Develop and maintain KOL relationships and manage advisory boards.

**Qualifications**
- You hold a bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Science or Business Management-related discipline.
- You have a minimum 5years’ experience in a marketing or commercial management role across pharmaceutical, medical devices, consumer health, or life science industries - a combination of such is a plus.
- You have a successful track record with significant experience in product management, product launch or major product repositioning. Demonstrated Leadership in a people management role is a must.
- You must either be an Australian Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
