Great temptations is a well-established business renowned for its quality baking products and is a leading commercial bakery manufacturing pre-packed cakes and slices for retailers across Australia and Asia. An opportunity exists for a Permanent Baking Operator within our factory and this position will be reporting to our Bakery Manager

The Role
- Ensure that cakes are baked at the proper temperatures and making certain that kitchen and baking equipment adheres to the regulations.
- Operate machines to deposit required cakes.
- Check food ingredients for freshness, quality, and availability.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Adhere to all approved company’s policies and procedures (HR, OHS and Quality).

Essential Criteria
- Ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail.
- A reasonable level of strength and fitness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Good understating of hygiene and food safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Proven ability to work under pressure, and multi-task.
- Focus on OSH and commitment to actively maintaining a safe work environment.
- The ability to work without Management direction, use initiative and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork is critical.
- Good Mechanical Aptitude

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Neerabup, WA 6031: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
