The People, Culture, and Wellbeing team is critical to APG’s success and the development of a positive culture. The HR Business Partner will work collaboratively to provide a broad range of expert advice and support services to our most important asset—our People

Working closely with the GM of People, Culture, and Wellbeing, you’ll bring a commercially savvy, people-focused approach to making change happen. You'll also work closely with the APG leaders to provide seamless support and service delivery across the end-to-end employee life cycle.
Specifically, this role you will be required to:

- Partner with leaders and employees on various employee life-cycle matters across the business and provide coaching and support on various human resources matters.
- Provide advice, coaching, and management across various employee-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, safety (including workers' compensation), and resource planning.
- Identify key trends and contribute to creating HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
- Partner, advise and coach leaders across several sites, enabling leaders to build a performance culture that supports APG values and business objectives.
- Support developing and implementing HR initiatives to improve the APG employee value proposition.

**What will make you successful in the role?**
- Accredited qualification in Human Resources or an equivalent background.
- Experience partnering with Operations in a blue-collar environment.
- Commercial savviness and skill to navigate the fine line of commercial v best practice v compliance.
- A true leadership and growth mindset - including the ability to see the bigger picture, truly empower teams & make effective collaboration second nature.
- A goal-oriented approach with the ability to work independently, establish priorities and be organised under time constraints
- A proactive and structured approach, and you are not afraid to get involved and contribute.
- Problem-solving skills and collaborative team player with strong communication skills to implement positive change.
- Strong and exceptional communication skills that drive positivity and engagement across the team
- Ability to travel as required for the role
