About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Water Cart Operator to join our team on civil construction projects. The role involves operating a water cart for dust suppression, conditioning and compaction of materials, and providing safe, efficient support to site operations. Experience is preferred, but not essential

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate water cart on construction sites in line with site requirements and safety procedures.
- Perform dust suppression, road watering, and material conditioning/compaction as directed.
- Monitor and adjust spray patterns for effective site coverage.
- Conduct basic daily pre-starts and inspections of the truck.
- Carry out light maintenance and cleaning of the water cart to ensure it remains in safe working order.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, spotters, and other operators.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and company procedures.

Skills & Experience
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s licence (essential).
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- VOC or competency ticket for water cart operations (preferred).
- Experience in civil construction or mining projects.
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
- Ability to complete basic maintenance and keep equipment clean and presentable.
