- THE ROLE**Deliver purpose, innovation, and compelling content**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Working with the leadership team to develop and own a rich content strategy that answers client and employee needs, driven by brand positioning that aligns to the businesses’ values and capabilities
- Stay on top of industry trends and news, and work with founders on the strategic positioning of Sparro and Jack Nimble within the market
- Prepare press releases, media pitches and seek coverage, including strategic opportunities for senior leaders to contribute thought-leadership pieces in relevant media
- Oversee the award submission process for Sparro and Jack Nimble, which includes managing a calendar; looking for new opportunities, awards and categories; co-writing submissions; and managing on-time submissions
- Lead and arrange social media management for the group, which includes content management; briefing designers, editors and copywriters; and publishing content
- Drive the business newsletter, including content management, sub-editing, publishing and managing a database
- Regularly update the Sparro and Jack Nimble websites with relevant data, case studies, blog posts, and company initiatives
- Foster strong relationships with trade media journalists
- Stay on top of industry events, constantly looking for networking and opportunities for the broader group
- Promote the Sparro and Jack Nimble values and culture

**Skills**:

- 3-5 years experience working in a marketing/brand or communications role
- Solid understanding of the advertising/marketing industry
- Strong written and storytelling skills, capable of writing press releases, award submissions and social media content
- Detail oriented, ensuring quality control of all work
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to build and grow relationships with key industry contacts
- Strong strategic understanding of business growth plans and agency marketing
- Growth mindset with an ambition to learn and take on new challenges
- PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT**The performance of the Brand & Communication Manager will be determined based on their ability to**:

- Gain positive media coverage for the brands that aligns to their vision and story.
- Achieve award nominations and wins.
- Contribute to the values and culture of Sparro & Jack Nimble.
