**Your New Role**

We are looking for an experienced **Customer Insights/Data Analyst** to join our small team. In this role, you’ll use your analytical skills to generate actionable insights, deliver operational and executive reports by tight deadlines, and support senior leaders in understanding customer feedback.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Analyse complex datasets to generate customer insights that drive business improvement.
- Act as the go-to expert in **Power BI**:Use your advanced Power BI skills to build reusable models and captivating reports that drive user engagement. Create impactful visualizations, master DAX for deeper insights, and be the go-to person for strategic, data-driven decision-making.
- Link multiple data sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer experience.
- Deliver operational and executive reports, ensuring they are completed by set deadlines.
- Continuously improve and uplift reporting processes, particularly in **Voice of Customer** (VOC) surveys, to improve the understanding of our customers experience throughout our business.
- Present technical and complex information in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with a small team, supporting junior analysts and sharing your expertise to help them grow.
- Juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
**To be successful, you will have**:
- 3+ years of experience in customer insights, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, with a proven ability to create impactful visualizations and reports.
- Degree level qualification in Data engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer science or other relevant discipline.
- Experience working with large datasets and connecting various data sources.
- A curious, problem-solving mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and dig deeper into the data.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, including data manipulation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to Azure Databricks (not essential, but highly valued).
- A collaborative attitude, with a passion for mentoring and supporting junior team members.
