Great opportunity for **Account Payable Officer **at a logistics company in Lidcombe
**Duties**:
- Timely and accurate processing of invoices received for payment in Great Plains
- Answer all vendor enquiries
- Getting departmental approval for all invoices
- Perform filing, copying and scanning of documents where required
- Ensuring disputed/unpaid charges are investigated and resolved promptly
- The focus of the role is to efficiently manage all activities associated with payment cycle
- Timeliness of payments, ensuring there are no overdue accounts attracting late payment fees or penalties
- Responsible for the reconciliation of supplier statements with ledger balances
- Ensuring integrity of data is maintained so that financial information is timely and accurate
- Verify that payable transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial files
- Developed procedures to maintain and increase efficient operations
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Any other duties as assigned by manager
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Higher school certificate
- Accounting Diploma (Preferable)
- Previous experience in Transport and Logistics industry (Preferable)
- Able to commute to the office in Lidcombe
