**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic IT Support Officer to provide IT support to our demanding and fast paced Melbourne Airport, Warehouse and Stores as well as any other support required under the direction of the Head of IT.

**THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU**:

- Provide hardware, printing and networking support to Melbourne Airport store, Warehouses and Support Office, as required and directed.
- Point of sale (POS) environment testing and configuration.
- Assist with new stores IT configuration and deployment.
- Windows Server, Desktop and networking support including AD, Remote Desktop, 3CX, Fortinet and VMware.
- Network analytical support and incident reporting to network service providers.
- VOIP Phone support and configuration, MDM.
- Liaison with IT vendors for supply and support of hardware and services under the direction of Head of IT.
- Liaison and management of cabling, electrical and camera contractors
- Occasional travel may be required for hands on support on a national level.
- Support outside of business hours when required

**YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE**:

- Timely response to all internal customers IT support requests
- Delivery and maintenance of a training system utilised for induction

**WHO ARE YOU?**

**_ _**_Essential_**
- Minimum of 3 years IT support role in a medium to large size business.
- Manage and handle various competing priorities
- Ability to assess and resolve complex IT problems
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently when required
- High level of attention to detail
- Proven hardware, networking and support experience.
- Ability to travel interstate on occasion for hands on support in other locations.

Desirable:_**
- POS and LAN support experience
- Hardware, Microsoft or Network Vendor Certification
- Experience of working in airports or duty free retail environments
