At Croydon Tennis Centre we are a community focused service that provides a variety of activities and opportunities for families in our local community. Our OOSH service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care to families of the surrounding suburbs. We are a provider with a unique service.

**CTC OOSH seeks to appoint an OOSH educator who**:

- Will have a service orientated approach to the role
- Is able to demonstrate ongoing commitment to the service
- Assists in the provision of providing students with activities that are age appropriate, educational and yet engaging
- Is a motivated, positive and energetic role-model for students
- Has the ability to communicate on various levels with people
- Uses initiative and has a practical common-sense approach
- Will promote and provide active quality care
- Has the ability to think outside the box
- Is able to think on their feet

**About the Role**

AT CTC OOSH our focus is that the students who attend are treated as individuals, we treat our staff the same way. Each team member at CTC OOSH brings an individual dynamic and skill set to the team. These attributes are utilised to provide the students enrolled at CTC OOSH with the best experience possible. Our educators are outstanding role-models for the young students, and provide experiences that are engaging, fun, challenging and interesting, whilst also providing subtle learning experiences that the students can use in their everyday life.

We are currently looking to boost our casual team with another dedicated team member. As part of the team you will be supporting the other educators whilst providing an environment that focus’ on the wellbeing and safety of all the students. The role will entail engaging with the children, assisting with the daily run of the service.

**About You**

**Essential requirements to be successful in this role**:

- Previous Experience within the OOSH Sector OR Previous experience with children aged 5 - 12 years
- WWCC
- Two Reference Checks
- Professionalism
- Well presented
- Enthusiastic
- Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- Dedication to the job
- Living in Australia (Croydon Sydney)

**Desirable Requirements to be successful in the role**
- Child Protection CHCPRT001 - or willing to obtain
- CPR HLTAID001 - or willing to obtain
- Provide basic emergency life support HLTAID002 - or willing to obtain
- First Aid HLTAID003 - or willing to obtain
- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting HLTAID004 - or willing to obtain
- National Police Check - willing to obtain
