Established in 1963, **Mobo Group** is a growing for purpose organisation, creating more opportunities and better outcomes for people living with disability by providing pathways to sustainable employment. Employing over 60 people and a focus on enabling individuals to be the best they can be, Mobo Group’s vision strives for a world where disability is no barrier to leading a fulfilling and satisfying life. With operations across 12 locations in South Australia, Mobo Group provides Disability Employment Services at 5 locations around the state, supported employment to over 200 people at 2 sites in Adelaide and 5 social enterprises in the Greater Adelaide area and Fleurieu Peninsula.
Reporting to and working in close partnership with the Board of Directors, the **Chief Executive Officer** (CEO) will have the opportunity to run a meaningful social enterprise and lead the overall vision and strategy of the organisation. You will drive high performance in the areas of operational services, finance, people management and strategic stakeholder management with key government and regulatory bodies. With a growth mindset, you will effectively manage and promote Mobo Group to raise the organisation’s profile and showcase excellent service delivery. With a clear sense of accountability and purpose, the CEO will lead Mobo’s further evolution, successfully positioning the team to thrive as a leading “for purpose” organisation with a “safe to try” culture of empowerment and support, where staff have the freedom to express themselves.
This role requires a passionate and strategic people leader, who is engaging, respectful and consistently inspires others by demonstrating a values-based ethos. A natural influencer, you will have political nous and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships. Experience within profit for purpose or disability services is desirable, coupled with innovative and strategic thinking, operational leadership and business acumen. A track record in an executive leadership position, you will have experience across operational planning and knowledge of governance, legislation and regulatory environments. A key measure of success will be building the confidence, reputation, brand and profile of the organisation with the community, government and the Board.
