**The role**
As the **Theatre Technical Manager**you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the back of house technical operations**for Crown Perth Theatre.

Liaising with clients, suppliers, production houses and tour managers; you will ensure efficiency, professionalism and customer satisfaction. You will schedule technical staff and equipment for the installation, operation and dismantling of shows for internal and external clients and will maintain records of technical operations, staff utilisation and equipment maintenance.

In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:

- Supervise all technical aspects of Theatre BOH staging operations
- Contribute to staging technical planning process to ensure venue is maintained and developed to meet artistic and business needs
- Liaise with external and internal clients, suppliers, production companies and/or touring production managers to ensure the staging technical aspects are delivered
- Assist in scheduling and rostering of BOH resources to meet requirements for all Theatre events/shows
- Co-ordinate BOH teams and technical bump in/bump out of shows, coordinating services and overseeing operations.
- Manage the continuous improvement of team performance, practice and process
- Contribute to staff recruitment and induction process as required

**About you**
You’ll bring the following:

- 5 years senior theatre technical experience with an emphasis on Theatre Stage productions
- Ability to analyse problems and identify solutions
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
- Knowledge of and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity, and Ethical practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organisational ability including time management, task prioritisation and resource scheduling
- Experience in the use of CAD design programs and reading of CAD plans (desired)
- Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Rigging, Dogging and Forklift license desired
