**Your new company**
This is a proud and influential development company based in the ACT city centre. Privately owned company focused on prime property opportunities across the eastern seaboard. With a 50-year tenure in the ACT market, this developer has delivered more than $2 billion worth of work across residential and commercial property.

In recent years they have focused on eye grabbing architectural retail precincts, bringing a new level of life and energy to a growing Canberra City hub. Driven by the need to innovate spaces that stimulate buyers, this company is operates differently to any other of its kind.

**Your new role**
Being the principal Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to deliver on a proposed project pipeline of $500m over the next 5 years. The projects will be eye grabbing in design and unlike any other in the ACT.

Specifics of the role are below:

- You'll be principally responsible for the project delivery adhering to program and budget
- Planning from concept to completion, tracking development
- Responsible for managing project conceptual design, through to amendments and final design approval
- Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders such as consultants
- Responsible for project strategy, design and construction methodologies
- Management of project sales and marketing strategies
- Oversight of commissioning, settlement and handover upon project completion

The company will consider an experienced DM to join the team, or an experienced ADM who is hungry to develop their career across property development.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role you must be a proven professional in the construction and property industry and be hungry to succeed in a high performing business.

Specifics around qualifications and attributes are as follows;
- A tertiary qualification in construction or property related degree with significant experience within property development
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of commercial high-rise developments
- You'll posses hunger and the eagerness to succeed
- Strong understanding of early development (concept planning, marketing, finance etc.)
- Impeccable communication skills and professionalism
