**The role may involve**:
Assistance with community access and recreational activities Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance) Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists) Transportation and supporting social engagement Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours Experience using a Hoist, PEG Feeding, or with Epilepsy Management Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to Hearth

**Essential criteria**:
An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support Transferable life/_work_ skills along with a caring and compassionate approach A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with vulnerable people card Current police verification The legal right to _work_ in Australia Excellent communication skills A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities
