And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our Hybrid Work Model Job Description As the Asset Protection Manager, reporting directly to the National Asset Protection Manager, you will take the lead in securing and recovering CHEP’s assets across the supply chain. You’ll work to identify assets in the possession of clients or third parties, investigate their legitimacy, and recover any assets that are off-hire. - This is an exciting and dynamic role that is offering you the chance to engage with clients, investigate potential losses, and be an integral part of our asset protection team_ Primarily responsible for the QLD/NT Territory, you’ll utilize your investigative skills, data analysis abilities, and proactive mindset to solve complex problems, prevent loss, and contribute toward sustainability goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenges and is looking to make a significant impact in the security and asset protection space. Key Responsibilities - Analyze SAP data and collect intelligence to track asset movement and verify legitimacy. - Conduct audits, gather field intelligence, and validate customer claims through data reconciliation and client engagement. - Negotiate and facilitate the return of surplus assets, ensuring they are either placed back on hire or recovered. - Lead recovery efforts in cases where clients go into receivership or assets are at risk. - Actively support broader strategic initiatives and work closely with the National Asset Protection team. - Document activities and ensure compliance with CHEP’s Global Audit Policy. - Collaborate with internal teams and customers to protect assets and recover equipment in alignment with CHEP’s sustainability and zero harm goals. About you - You’re a proactive individual with experience in investigations, auditing, loss prevention, and asset recovery - You’ve enhanced your analytical skills and possess a natural ability to work with data and field intelligence to identify and resolve issues. - You’re known for your exceptional communication skills - engaging with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders is your forte. - A true problem solver who thrives on challenges and quickly adapts to new skills and methodologies as needed. - You’ve previously demonstrated intermediate-level computer skills & possible have a familiarity with SAP (advantageous). - Having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related fields is desirable but not essential - we value practical experience and passion.
