We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapy Unit Head to join the Illawarra Hospital Group’s Non-Admitted and Community Services team. This leadership role oversees a large physiotherapy team across multiple sites, with 29.6 FTE and a total staff headcount of 50.
Various services managed with this role include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, lymphoedema management, pelvic health, hand therapy, rehabilitation outpatients, aged care outpatients with other services providing professional links. The team works across outpatient clinics, community settings, and home-based care, providing vital services to the local community.
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership and management skills who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care. This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated team of physiotherapists, drive service improvements, and make a real impact in the Illawarra Hospital Group.

**A little about us.**
As a part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. Located on Dharawal Country, Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together a range of services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services.
Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site.
