Job summary:
As Right at Home Midland finance and administration officer, you love numbers and figuring out the story that they tell. You will support the Director with your combined business acumen and strong accounting background. Your passion for financial analytics and detailed record keeping will ensure the business operates as efficiently as possible.
You are responsible for the day to day operations related to managing all bookkeeping related tasks for Right at Home Midland, to ensure the owners have access to accurate, reliable and timely financial data.
Right at Home Midland is growing exponentially so the finance and administration role requires a degree of flexibility and adaptability. We are in a state of constant improvement as we grow, so an ability to be able to identify opportunities and suggest a plan to implement, will also be an asset.
What your role entails:
Payroll
- You will ensure that all client and caregiver records are entered accurately into our management and accounting systems
- You will create new memberships for any new employees that will be using our superannuation fund
- You will lead the successful execution of fortnightly payroll, including award interpretation, for Right At Home's 50+ caregivers and clients
- Using Xero to process the billing for services provided via the timesheets, invoices are sent to clients on a monthly basis
- You will monitor and report on overtime and other payroll-related metrics
- You will ensure that all reimbursements are made to employees for petrol and other related expenses
- You are the face of the business in regards to payroll-related queries from caregivers, such as payslip queries or providing certificates of employment
Receivables and Payables
- You will manage the Aged Receivables and communicate with clients and Plan Managers regarding outstanding accounts. Ensuring all payments are received within 14 days of invoice
- You are the face of the business regarding financial queries from clients and Plan Managers.
- You will manage the Accounts payable and ensure that vendors are paid on time
Administrative
- You will reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, as well as monitor cash flow
- You own all Government remittances including Payroll tax, Superannuation
- You will understand the NDIS pricing guidelines and prepare client budgets as required
- Yo will provide general administrative duties
What you will bring to Right at Home
- At least 1 year of experience in full-cycle accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll (Single Touch Payroll, reconciliations, and Month end Processing experience)
