Take charge in overseeing the financial, analytical reporting, and commercial planning processes for **OPSM, Sunglass Hut**, and **Oakley** in the ANZ region. Your expertise will be pivotal in propelling these brands to new heights and acting as a crucial liaison between the ANZ local team and our Milan-based headquarters. Reporting to our CFO your role is instrumental in promoting transparent communication and fostering collaboration in areas pertaining to reporting, budgets, and overall performance.
**Requirements for Success**
- Participate in ad-hoc analyses as required to better comprehend trends, assess tactical opportunities, and appraise capital expenditures
- Ensure completeness and reasonable accuracy of information. Your keen oversight is vital for spotting and rectifying errors before publication.
- Collaborate with your cross-functional colleagues to guarantee the thorough preparation of comprehensive month-end commentary and supporting analyses for all critical P&L categories
- Strong knowledge on financial reporting systems such as **SAP** and **Hyperion**:
- Interact with financial accountants to gain insights into unique or balance sheet provision
- that may influence or potentially affect the P&L
- Play a key role in supporting the continuous development of our planning tools
- Engage with your cross-functional counterparts in product, property, marketing, finance, HR etc to ensure forecasts are accurate and understood
- Contribute to the identification, development and sharing of best practice analysis, reporting and forecasting processes within the Finance Team
- Provide Constructive Leadership & Mentorship to your Senior Financial Analyst
**Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate people
- Proficient in **Microsoft Word & PowerPoint**:
- **Advanced Excel**:
- Previous experience using** SAP & Hyperion**:
- Ability to deal with financial information in an accurate and confidential manner
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a natural ability to build connections and relationships
