**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity for HR Systems and Talent Development to be a part of the Human Resources & Wellbeing team, working as part of a generalist HR team responsible for ensuring proactive alignment of human resources systems and human resources project initiatives with the Council’s core business systems and strategic goals. It also has responsibility for coordinating and delivering quality training initiatives designed to build employee skills and capability and achieve continuous business improvement by leveraging off new technologies.

**Duties include**:

- Management of HR systems, including system workflows, data extraction and adhoc reporting for key stakeholders. This includes the alignment and integration of HR business systems with Council’s core business systems.
- Responsible for managing and the facilitation of projects for Council that predominantly relate to HR systems and processes and reporting, taking into account client needs, organisational priorities and legislative requirements and to facilitate cultural change and continuous improvement.
- Provide key input into HR business improvement strategy providing recommendations on how to maximise HR systems to assist Council meet its strategic goals.
- Contribute to the design of training programs and utilise participant feedback to advise on continuous improvement for courses
- Train staff using various aids including presentation of lesson materials, discussions, workshops, practical demonstrations, multimedia aids and computer tutorials.

**About **you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects with competing deadlines
