What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Resource and Industrial business unit requires an experienced HC driver to be based at the Carrington Terminal - Newcastle, NSW. You will be required to safely deliver fuel to our customers within Newcastle, Upper Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney regions. This is a permanent full-time position working a 13 shift roster pattern Mon-Sun, rotating between an early morning shift and afternoon shift. Key areas:

- Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times
- Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
- Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation

- Current and valid HC or MC Licence
- A current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence - Preferred but not essential
- SLP preferred but not essential
- Current terminal inductions are highly regarded
- Commitment to manage fatigue and an understanding of shift work
- Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures
- Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
