Newcastle, Australia UGL Limited Full time

UGL Defence is currently working towards the award of a fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract with Defence. We are currently seeking expressions of interests for tanker truck drivers and operators to work with the RAAF.
- This a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying the benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider. Work as one team and perform the delivery of fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders on base.

**The Role**

Reporting through to a UGL leading hand or supervisor, your day-day directions will come form the Commanding Officer or similar of the particular squadron you will be working with. These duties will include, but not limited to;
- Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base
- Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
- Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etc
- Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
- Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience

**What you Need**

You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following
- MC/HR Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence
- Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
- Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
- Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
- Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
