**About the Company**
This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and innovative experience within the development of New South Wales government. Our client is looking for a Relationship Manager to foster and leverage strategic relationships with a network of stakeholders and delivery partners
**About the Role**
- Act as the contact for key partners and stakeholders relating to the provision of critical infrastructure, industry, business and essential goods and services that enhance NSW’s ability to plan, prepare for, respond to and recover from crisis events.
- Embed formal arrangements in relation to ensuring compliance with best practice standards, relevant public sector policies and statutory requirements.
- Partner and engage with key stakeholder entities to leverage expertise and ensure mutually beneficial service delivery outcomes are maximized.
- Negotiate and procure external partner goods and services ensuring contract and service agreements are commercially astute, comply with the NSW procurement framework and provide value for money service solutions
- Monitor relevant partnership agreements to ensure services delivered or provided represent value for money and ensure appropriate management, escalation and resolution of significant or controversial issues
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting, performance reviews and monitoring activities under the guidance of the Director
- Identify governance, emerging issues and risks and proactively provide recommendations to influence decision making and enhance partner engagement so that issues are addressed, and outcomes maximised.
- Be a champion for best practice program development, implementation and reporting to increase partner engagement and buy-in and to build the reputation of the agency to deliver best practice resilience & emergency management support.
**About You**
- Extensive experience working with community and industry stakeholders on key government initiatives and effectively building and managing critical partner relationships
- Ability to be effective in a highly sensitive media and political environment
- Tertiary qualifications in business management or communications and/or relevant equivalent experience in leading strategic stakeholder engagement.
- Ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances
