**About the role**

**Key responsibilities**
- Spearhead development of community resilience strategies, leveraging resources efficiently.
- Lead community-led adaptation program, engaging key stakeholders.
- Establish baseline socio-spatial picture of Northern Rivers, assess adaptation impacts.
- Manage project development, ensuring on-time, on-budget, quality outcomes.
- Cultivate stakeholder relationships, ensure engagement and deliverables.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation strategies for project effectiveness.
- Manage project teams, internal and external, to achieve milestones.
- Provide expert advice on community resilience, support project delivery.
- Conduct research, formulate evidence-based recommendations for planning.

**About you**
- Exudes autonomy in setting priorities, aligning with management directives.
- Balances evidence-based recommendations with expert judgment, especially under pressure.
- Maintains independence in managing teams, allocating resources, and devising strategic plans.
- Holds significant responsibility for unit/team actions within governmental policies.
- Ensures quality control in unit/team implementation, adhering to legislative standards.
