Join Alliance Airlines as a **Safety & Quality Partner**, where you'll drive a proactive safety culture and lead continuous improvement across our operations. Reporting to the Head of Safety & based onsite at our Head Office in Brisbane, you’ll find yourself partnering with stakeholders to enhance risk awareness, coach teams on best practices, and develop practical solutions that strengthen safety and quality systems.
- ** Drive Safety & Quality Culture** - Partner with stakeholders to enhance risk awareness, proactive behaviours, and compliance with safe systems of work.
- ** Lead Risk Reduction & Continuous Improvement** - Oversee risk reduction projects, ensure effective controls, and drive improvements in safety and quality performance.
- ** Provide Technical Expertise** - Support audits, investigations, change management, and the implementation of safety systems, policies, and training programs.
- ** Investigate & Monitor Safety Incidents** - Classify occurrences, manage investigations, allocate SMEs, and report significant risks to leadership.
- ** Support Compliance & Regulatory Engagement** - Liaise with CASA and ATSB, host regulatory teams, and ensure adherence to WHS, SMS, QMS, and SeMS standards.
- ** Train, Report & Influence** - Develop and deliver safety training, create engaging reports and safety materials, and support the integration of safety leadership across the business.

**Who we are looking for**:

- ** Qualifications & Accreditations** - Aviation Lead Auditor and Safety Investigator certifications are essential, with WH&S and Environmental accreditations desirable.
- ** Industry Experience** - Proven background in aviation or resource sector safety, quality, and risk management, with a strong understanding of Civil Aviation regulations.
- ** Regulatory & Compliance Expertise** - Experience in aviation safety governance, assurance activities, investigations, and compliance with WH&S and environmental regulations.
- ** Project & Change Management** - Ability to lead operational improvement and risk reduction projects, implementing effective safety systems and processes.
- ** Strong Communication & Leadership** - Skilled in coaching, influencing stakeholders, managing conflicts, and delivering clear, concise reports and safety documentation.
- ** Technical & Analytical Skills** - Proficient in aviation safety audits, investigations, SMS, and regulatory frameworks, with solid computing skills (MS Office).
