**About the Role**
As an Internal Communications Specialist for our Canon Business Services (CBS) business you will protect and enhance our corporate reputation through your expert advice and your flawless execution of internal communications in line with CBS’ and Canon Oceania’s strategy. You’ll work closely with a wide variety of senior stakeholders spanning Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines to deliver communication content for all channels including digital platforms, video and presentations.
**Scope of the role includes**:
- Execute internal communications for Canon Business Services in line with CBS’ and Canon Oceania’s strategy.
- Advice and support CBS’ executive leadership communication activities.
- Develop communications strategies and execute communications plans for business initiatives.
- Lead communications for any CBS change/issues management activities.
- Lead community partnerships with CBS’ Community partners across AU/NZ/PHL.
- Contribute to CSR communications, including Sustainability Report and employee activities.
- Assist with Corporate PR activities, including press releases, LinkedIn posts and PR coordination.
- Assist with CBS and Corporate Events on an as needed basis.
**About you**
As an internal communications specialist with a proven track record in corporate communications you bring a high degree of credibility to the role. You have a mature approach, and you know how to advise your stakeholders to get the best outcomes. You have a good understanding of change management and the associated comms required and you thrive in a creative professional and driven team.
Key skills and experience required include;
- Tertiary qualifications in one of the following disciplines Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations
- 5 + years’ experience working in a communications role
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of key project management and change management skills
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Online event set-up and hosting experience i.e., Microsoft Teams Event.
