Role Overview
In this role the Internal Communications Specialist - Connect will be responsible for the planning, and delivery of communications across Datacom’s Contact Centre business - Connect Australia.
Role Responsibilities
The Internal Communications Specialist - Connect role is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Writing, editing and distributing content across various communications channels, including Connect’s MyHub.
- Ensuring message consistency across all communications.
- Partnering with the Connect leadership team and executive to provide communications support on key initiatives across our Connect business and Datacom Group.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of an integrated strategic internal communications plan to advance Datacom’s brand; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences.
- Creating strategic, purpose-driven communication plans for relevant internal stakeholders’ business goals and objectives
- Supporting Connect’s employee engagement initiatives through internal communications.
- Sound experience in relationship and stakeholder management
- Demonstrates a passion for excellence within a team including a culture of continual learning
- Creative thinking with high level attention to detail
- Operational efficiency and time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Good project management skills
- Enhance internal reputation of the team
- IT marketing and communication experience
- Broad knowledge of IT and industry trends

Role Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in supporting communications campaigns using a variety of channels, working both proactively and reactively.

Desirable
- Previous experience in a contact centre environment

Key Working Relationships
You’ll have experience in building positive relationships and gaining the respect of diverse stakeholders. You will work in with the wider communications team, various marketing managers and coordinators as well as executive members and general managers, other staff and content and business owners. This role will drive the development and creation of Datacom Connect’s internal communications to ensure they are aligned with the overall group communications strategy. In this role, you will help define how Datacom and the executive team communicates to its internal audiences across Connect.
