**The Role**

To provide commercial support and advice to the ALH Food Team, using data to drive performance reporting, planning and insightful analysis that improves and supports decision-making

**Responsibilities**
- Support the production and distribution of weekly and monthly performance reporting including Leadership packs
- Responsible for the end to end financial compliance of the Food drivers (including robust accruals, forecasts and budgets, cost centre performance and Risks and Opportunities tracking)
- Support Food driver stakeholders with timely information on KPI’s, including associated risks
- Support the forecast and budget processes and strategic evaluations
- Responsible for building ad hoc reports and analysis based on stakeholder needs
- Pro-actively rationalise reporting and ad hoc requests, through a culture of continuous Improvement
- Support maintenance of key Food metrics (No of operations, available rooms, no of functions, REVPAR ect)
- Introduce in conjunction with Data and Analysis team (where appropriate) new reporting dashboards and performance reporting to highlight new opportunities for growth
- Provide detailed analysis and recommendations on initiatives and promotional activities
- Proactively communicate commercial impacts on past and future activities amongst stakeholders.
- Develop Initiatives to improve visibility and accountability of the Food financials and performance
- Support strategic and project analysis to drive improved returns on capital investments and business initiatives
- Play the role of ‘commercial advisor, including supplier negotiations and discussion

**About You**
- A minimum of 8 years relevant experience
- CA / CPA Qualification
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data from a variety of sources
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrate simple, structured, accurate and robust outputs
- Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience
- Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros)
- Hospitality/Bar & Food experience
- Great Plains experience
