Reporting to the General Manager and with full sales responsibility for the segment P&L, you will thrive in the opportunity to make significant business impact and embed a commitment to customer value and success

About this opportunity*
This role will see you:

- Partner with your respective divisional leaders to enable sound decision making through sound financial analysis, experience and collaboration.
- Perform timely key analysis combining both internal and external sources to provide insightful recommendations for profitability and business opportunities.
- Manage P&L and Balance Sheets that is free of material error and compliant with all external and internal requirements.
- Ongoing development of the finance capability within Packaging Division, including alignment with the wider Pact Group Finance community.
- Strategically partner with the divisional leaders on key commercial negotiations including major contracts, product and service development.
- Lead coach and develop the divisional finance team

Your skills and experience*
- Experienced in leading and developing high performing finance teams.
- Expert level financial analysis skills and experience with the ability to turn business analysis into insights and clearly articulate these to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
- Experience in pricing and negotiation, sound understanding of both financial and management accounting.
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams and with Finance and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement (people, technology and process).
- Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement (people, technology and process).
- Excellent oral and written communication with experience in communicating finance and overall business performance to all stakeholders.
- Collaboration and relationship building skills - ability to quickly form working relationships and gain credibility with all levels within an organisation.
- Previous experience in a similar role of scope and scale within finance

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications essential in finance, accounting, commerce/business
- CPA/CA qualified or equivalent
