Residential Credit Assessor 1

You'll be in your element in this role if your ideal day includes providing outstanding customer service to ING Customers and Brokers, resolving loan enquiries, appeals or complaints in a timely manner.

**What you'll do**
- Specialise in credit/risk analysis, customer segmentation, conveyancing and banking processes
- Uphold ING policies and procedures (including ING's underwriting guidelines, compliance and risk) to avoid unacceptable operational risk

**What we're looking for?**
- Previously held a **Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) of at least $1m in a Residential or Commercial setting or $60k within a Consumer/Retail finance setting** (essential criteria)
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of lending practices including policy, valuations, mortgage insurance, procedures and banking regulatory requirements
- Strong mathematical and statistical analysis aptitude
- 2+ years of recent experience in the finance industry in residential mortgages assessment
- A passion for strong customer service ethics and is delivery focused
