**About you**

You will be a strategic project management professional with exceptional people leadership, mentoring and coaching skills who **thinks outcomes **to promote and act as a role model for a performance driven and cohesive team.

You will bring your program management and/or program controls experience to this role and lead a balanced team to undertake operations including the implementation or improvement of processes and compliance with Babcock and customer requirements.

**About the role**

As a member of the Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) Asset Class Primary Contractor (ACPC) Leadership Team you will contribute to the direction, strategy, and delivery of this program, the wider LHD Enterprise objectives and the resolution of program management issues.

You will be required to maintain and improve the program level cost and schedule management system for ACPC, undertaking strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting reviews for the program.

This is a permanent position located at the Garden Island Defence base, Potts Point NSW.
- To be successful in this role, you will have: _
- Extensive Program / Project Management experience within a complex organisation
- Significant people leadership experience within a Program Controls setting
- Practical ability to utilise critical project management concepts such as Program Planning, Earned Value Management, Risk Management and Change Management
- Understanding of scheduling and cost control concepts
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with exceptional ability to communicate effectively
