**Job Title: Hospitality Trainer**
The **Hospitality Trainer** will play a key role in delivering a broad range of qualifications in hospitality management. You will be responsible for providing high-quality training and assessments in programs such as the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, Diploma of Hospitality Management, Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, and Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning). Your expertise will support the development of skilled professionals who are ready to excel in the hospitality industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Training Delivery**:
Deliver engaging, industry-relevant training for the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, Diploma of Hospitality Management, Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, and Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning).
- **Student Assessments**:
Develop, implement, and assess student work to ensure the successful completion of course requirements. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students meet their learning goals.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:
Maintain compliance with RTO standards and regulations, ensuring all training and assessment activities are carried out according to these guidelines. Prepare and maintain accurate records for student progress and assessments.
- **Course Material Development**:
Design and update training materials, ensuring they meet current industry practices and educational standards.
- **Student Support**:
Provide one-on-one mentoring, answer student queries, and offer guidance to ensure students feel supported throughout their learning experience.
- **Industry Engagement**:
Stay updated with industry trends and practices, integrating these insights into your teaching. Build connections with industry partners to enhance the learning experience for students.
- **Professional Development**:
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay informed on best practices and compliance standards in training.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Required Qualifications**:
- Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
- Certificate IV in Kitchen Management & Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- **Experience**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a trainer in hospitality or related fields.
- Demonstrated industry experience in kitchen management, hospitality management, or leadership/management.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training sessions, both in the classroom and online.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in assessment and reporting.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students, helping them achieve their career goals.
- Knowledge of RTO compliance and training frameworks is desirable.
