The Associate Director's role is to deliver excellent work with an eye for new and repeat business

Job description
The business
- Support the Senior Leadership Team to achieve organisational objectives
- Take proactive steps to contribute to Quantum's financial success
- Contribute meaningfully to discussions around Quantum's overall strategy/direction
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients by working closely and collaboratively with them to drive client retention
- Significant contribution to repeat and new business development
- Engage with and support the development of external marketing activity.

The work
- Contribute meaningfully to larger/more complex proposals, and contribute at pitches
- Lead more complex/high-value jobs from beginning to end, including multiple project timelines, and resolving issues as they arise
- Build compelling, evidence-based stories and insights through in-depth analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Lead and support the development of questionnaires and discussion guides, including complex/innovative methods
- Drive excellence and attention to detail in the creation of high quality deliverables
- Seek efficiencies in the way we work without compromising the quality of what we deliver
- Ensure all project team's work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
- Take an active role in your own self development in agreement with your Manager as outlined in your professional development plan.

Person specification
- Ability to drive repeat business with existing clients and build strong relationships with new clients by understanding their business needs.
- A ‘safe pair of hands' who clients trust both within and outside of the project process, building ongoing relationships and acting as an advisor on their business/research needs
- Keeps abreast of emerging/innovative methods and act as a resource to others
- Spots the threads and patterns, weave them into compelling insights and use these to build actionable recommendations
- Creates clear and compelling reports on complex issues by thinking strategically, structuring reports around key insights and creates actionable recommendations that take into account business realities.
- Sees the bigger picture
- Comfortable taking a lead role in presenting debriefs, answering client questions etc
- Works with clients as a partner, both during and outside the project cycle
- Understands, and contribute meaningfully to discussions around the place of research & insights within the wider business landscape
- Some experience in line management or desire to learn
- Evidence of commitment to continued Professional Development
- Proactive consumer of news and opinion around our own and our clients' industries, willingness to create own content.
