**About the role**
The Senior Datawarehouse Engineer designs and manages the implementation, monitoring, security, and privacy of data for the NSW Department of Education.

**About you**
- Ability to oversee the design and development of data models to enable direction setting for environment and data analytics platforms.
- Data enhancements and continuous improvement to be productionize using Azure Synapse Analytics, tools like Azure Data Factory, Spark Notebooks, SSIS, and more.
- Troubleshoot activities and able to do impact assessment on support requests.
- Analytical capability to analyse and resolve data ingestion and integration issue.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education.
