**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**NPD, Deletions and Project Management**
- Create effective partnerships cross functionally to enable effective planning, communication and execution of NPD, Deletions and projects
- Provide visibility, guidance and clear instructions to the material planning team on change requirements
- Attend and represent material planning team in NPD and Deletions and Project meetings and provide appropriate feedback to cross functional stakeholders
- Ensure all material planning deliverables meet launch timelines and communicate any impacts and risks
- Mitigate SLOB and write off from changes and communicate any impacts and risks
- Manage the new item request process
- Drive process improvement and simplification in change management processes within material planning team and cross functionally

**Team Leave Cover**
- Caretake and manage material planning portfolio when leave cover is required
- Plan and generate purchase orders to meet production requirements and inventory policies
- Ensure purchase orders, quantities, pricing and ETA’s are confirmed by suppliers -rectify any discrepancies and assess potential impacts of discrepancies
- Proactively address and assess impacts of materials outside inventory policies and communicate accordingly to cross functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with Supply Partners and look for opportunities to drive efficiencies and synergies

**SOX Compliance**
- Report on SOX areas of control relating to material planning team to create visibility
- Drive action with the team to resolve all areas that are non-compliant
- Implement right first-time principles and behaviours within the team to mitigate noncompliance in SOX controls

**Other Responsibilities**
- Support the Material Planning Manager by analysing material requirements, managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
- Actively problem solve through root cause analysis and embed sustainable solutions to mitigate reoccurrence
- Be an SME in systems, processes and functional area to support the team
- Be inquisitive and take initiative
- Support material planning team with day to day replenishment activities
- Train, coach and upskill material planning team in best practice processes and reinforce a high-performance culture
- Drive simplicity and process improvement

**Skills/Competencies**:

- Minimum 5 years’ supply planning experience, including supply chain, inventory and administration with high volume.
- A qualification in Procurement and/or Supply Chain would be an advantage
- Project management skills
- Ability to analyse data, problem-solve, and make recommendations
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skill
- Disciplined and organised
- High attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
- The ability to prioritize tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously;
- Approachable and enthusiastic
- Flexible and adaptable
- Able to work on own initiative and as a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $73,150.00 - $95,000.00 per year
