**ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE**:
This newly created position is responsible for identifying, driving, and delivering optimisation opportunities across various areas of the business such as warehouse and logistics. As a result, you will ensure a continual focus on safety, efficiency, compliance and a seamless customer experience.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Project Manager and working as part of the leadership team, this role acts as the conduit between our Inventory, Supply Chain and Retail Operations teams ensuring operations are running optimally to support strategic objectives and deliver tangible business benefits.
You will be instrumental in recommending best practise and market leading initiatives to manage costs and improve processes and operations. As an advocate for safety, you will embed a culture that prioritises the health, safety and wellbeing of our internal teams, external partners & suppliers and customers. A key focus of the role will be partnering collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure there is alignment of improvement initiatives and integrated solutions are implemented well.

**ABOUT YOU**:
You have a successful background leading and delivering successful business improvement and optimisation initiatives at both a strategic and operational level from strategy through to implementation.
You'll bring an ability to challenge the status quo and see market and commercial opportunities that align with the vision and strategy. Key to your success is the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels to influence and negotiate positive outcomes for the business and our customers.
You will also bring with you strong commercial and financial acumen skills, along with an advanced knowledge of operations management, systems and frameworks coupled with current knowledge of WHS legislations and obligations.
Qualifications in Warehousing, Distribution or Logistics as well as prior project management experience/qualifications an advantage. Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems and frameworks is ideal.
This role involves travel, so applicants must be willing to travel nationally as required.
