**The Opportunity**

North Sydney Bus Charters (NSBC Group) is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Commercial Manager to play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our logistics and asset maintenance operations through a hands-on approach. In this key role, you will drive cost-effective, compliant, and value-adding outcomes across contracts and supplier relationships. As we expand our fleet and adopt clean transport solutions, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking business known for service excellence and operational innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide commercial oversight and contract management across logistics and asset maintenance portfolios
- Collaborate with operations and asset teams to ensure effective contract delivery and compliance
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal commercial outcomes
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks across key projects
- Analyse contract performance and drive cost control and value optimisation
- Contribute commercial input to procurement processes, bids, and tenders
- Support strategic reviews and lead improvements in supplier performance
- Available for occasional or rostered weekend work to support customer requirements

**What You’ll Need to Be Successful**
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, law, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in commercial or contract management, ideally in logistics or asset-intensive sectors (e.g. transport, maintenance, supply chain)
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and supplier engagement
- Demonstrated experience managing the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation and compliance
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform in a dynamic environment
