MADI Talent Studio is partnering exclusively with a global infrastructure organisation in their search for a Head of Finance - Australia. This regional role is suited to an individual who sits at the Financial Controller level and is looking to elevate to the next stage in their career.

**About the Role**

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Corporate - oversight and management of end-to-end accounting activities, forecasting & budgeting, OPEX & cost reducing recommendations, cashflow forecasting, tax compliance & advice and locally procured insurance programs.
- Compliance - act in the capacity of Company Secretary and nominated Tax Officer (Public Officer) for various entities.
- Project Finance - be a trusted advisor for Investment and Asset Management teams with management/oversight of accounting, tax and company Secretarial deliverables for held Assets.

**About You**
You will have operated at a senior finance level with ideally 8-10 years’ work experience across similar industry sectors such as construction, infrastructure, projects, banking or engineering, however this is not a prerequisite. PPP experienced would however be highly regarded. You will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding and experience of local financial reporting framework and relevant accounting standards, applied across both statutory and management reporting. You will have hands-on experience of cash flow and cost management, budgeting and risk management and an excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models. You will have a full picture of accounting experience with different group/entities exposure and experience of using a finance/accounting system with solid analytical work and decision making. You will be degree qualified in Business or Commerce majoring in Accounting and you will be CA/CPA qualified. Your personal attributes would include self-motivation with emotional intelligence, communication, collaboration, resilience, intellectual curiosity and enthusiastic visionary leadership.
